  • "Rockin’ With the Goose" has to be one of the most innovative children’s CD’s I have ever heard. The writing and vocal stylings of Lynn Kitchens are one of a kind and make you want to dance! I work with over 900 children age 5 and under through the week as a pre-school music teacher. My children especially love "Three Little Kittens" and "Old King Cole". I have found that children love to have music that sounds like that from the radio and this project delivers. With the all-star cast of studio musicians you hear sounds of Memphis horns and also the Beatles. As a trainer of early childhood professionals I also appreciate the lyric content from time honored Mother Goose. This is one of those projects that you just can’t go wrong with.

  • "My interest in this CD was peaked while reading a review in the Macon Telegraph in March of this year. I was interested to see what 'Rockin' wiht the Goose' had to offer my Pre-K students. I ordered the CD and was amazed with the rich quality of the music and the excellent lyrical content of the timeless classic Mother Goose rhymes. Even my special needs preschoolers, who currently recite the classic nursery rhymes daily, have recognized the rhymes in this new format and enjoy 'rockin' to the tunes. I can assure you that your students and their parents will enjoy 'Rockin' with the Goose'."

  • "Upon listening to H. Lynn Kithens recording "Rockin with the Goose", I had an idea that the recording was a good recording, but I had no idea it would be so good that I'd be caught singing "rockin roll nursery rhymes when I least expected it. How do you explain that to those adults around you? The musicianship on the recording is excellent. I'd heard there were great musicians on the recording before listening to it, and it certainly is understandable once you listen to the recording. The musical arrangements are excellent. I bought the recording as an opportunity to show different ways of developing the text, and to show kids a different style of music. I ended up carrying it with me and listening to it in my car. I highly recommend the C.D. for both school and "personal" use."
